Jennifer Sederholm Therapy ("we," "us," or "our") — the private practice of Jenny Sederholm, LCSW (California LCSW #25578) — respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information this website (jennifersederholm.com) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the website only; clinical services are governed by the separate Notice of Privacy Practices you receive when you become a client.
If you provide your mobile number and opt in — for example, by entering it in our booking or contact form and agreeing to be contacted, or by texting us first — we may send you text messages related to your care, such as appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies, and consent to receive texts is not a condition of receiving therapy services.
Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance. See our Terms of Service for the full details of our SMS program.
Appointment scheduling and intake forms on this site are powered by third-party providers, including the LeadConnector / HighLevel booking platform. When you submit a form or book a time, the information you enter is transmitted to and stored by that platform on our behalf. We also use Google services (such as Google Tag Manager and analytics) to understand how the site is used. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
We use cookies and analytics tools to measure site traffic and improve the experience. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; doing so may affect how parts of the site function.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us operate the website and scheduling (such as those named above), or when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, the practice, or others. We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
We keep website and scheduling information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law and professional record-keeping standards, then delete or de-identify it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" of personal information — and we do not sell personal information. To make a request — including to update your information or unsubscribe from communications — email hello@jennifersederholm.com. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message.
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. Therapy for minors is arranged directly with a parent or legal guardian.
We and our service providers use reasonable safeguards to protect information collected through this website. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our website may link to third-party sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and we will update the "Last updated" date above.
